HOUSEHOLD NON-STANDARD PRODUCTS
Resilets
A product designed for the residential property owner with cover available for professional and student lets or properties let to tenants on housing or disability benefit.
Resilets provides cover for buildings and for professional lets, landlord’s contents can also be included.
The cover includes:
- Landlord’s loss of rent up to 20% of the buildings sum insured
- £5,000 of landlord’s contents in respect of carpets, curtains, blinds and white goods
- Malicious damage by tenants
- Accidental breakage of glass and sanitary-ware
Holiday Homes
Dedicated cover for holiday homes in the UK that are occupied solely by the proposer and family or let out as a holiday let.
Cover is available for buildings and contents and it is not a requirement that Equity holds the insurance of the main residence.
Unoccupied Properties
Cover is now available for properties temporarily unoccupied due to extended holidays or longer-term un-occupancy, pending sale of the property.
The standard 30-day cover exclusions do not apply subject to the proposer taking certain precautions and an increased excess.
